Making Embroidery Tool Shed the default for opening designs
On a windows computer, do the following steps to make Embroidery Tool Shed the default for opening and embroidery design in.
First right click on a design saved on your computer and select Show more options
When that open go to Properties.
From there select change
This step is the important one. Do not select the first default app. Select the second one.
If ETS is not showing like the picture, Scroll to the bottom of the list and select Choose an app on your PC
From there follow the path below to set ETS as the default
