Opening the Software
When you open the My Quilting Studio software program, the Home Page shown below will appear.
This window is also accessible by clicking on the Home icon in the Title Bar at the top of the Design Page.
Note these elements of the Home Page (see red numbered circles):
- Click New Design to open a new work page.
- Go right to one of three Wizards in the software – a Quilt Label Wizard, a wizard for Quilt Layout, or Edge-to-Edge Quilting.
- Edit a file you already have by clicking Open Design.
- Click on the “Play” button for a video that helps you get started with My Quilting Studio.
- Thumbnail images of recent files are displayed here. Click the image to place that file back on the work page.
On the left side of the Home Page is a list of convenient ways to access other helpful features. (See area in red square.)
New Design opens a blank work page.
Open Design allows you to select an existing design from the folders on your computer.
Home will take you back to the Home Page.
Learn opens a page that displays convenient links to the OESD Facebook page, the DIME Inspirations Software Users Facebook page, and the DIME by OESD YouTube channel.
Under Resources, the Tutorials link takes you directly to YouTube lessons on My Quilting Studio software. Click “Manual” and have the software manual always at your fingertips.
Under Contact Us, you can book a private software lesson with an OESD Educator. The Software Support link is rich in information to help you with your software. You can also easily contact OESD Software Support.
Click Purchase to view currently featured OESD quilt designs. The link “See more designs” takes you directly to the OESD website to view and purchase from the vast library of OESD Quilting Designs.
